Don’t you love
to see them rise  
defy gravity in their joyous skip  
make their mommas proud  
inspire someone  
they never knew was watching?    
 
Don’t you love  
when they pass mirrors  
knowing their inner beauty is reflecting,  
self respecting.  
 
Don’t you love  
to traject the pain  
seeing them reign  
where the ground once  
stopped their sinking,
Negative thinking
so your heart had time to heal their heels  
so they could chase their goals?  
 
Don’t you love  
when they have nothing but a tear  
and a desperate ear  
to speak the answer  
to rid their cancer?  
Don’t you love without motive  
to be a motivation?
