The pit

We used to think that this was it,
a pointless place
in a bottomless pit.
You probably can't escape this pit
this ancient pit
that is your psyche...

We've got to leave
this deep dark pit,
Just close your eyes
lose the memories,
Leave this world
forget the future,
to these gashes
 we are the sutures.

This empty pit is way to deep
So just lean way back
 dont fall asleep
I'm coming with you
 lets take a peep
Lets run inside
 it's ours to reap.
