Walls
Walls were built so thick I began to suffocate.
Never knew how to escape.
Separate from the whole wide world
then here you came.
Never planned it this way.
Brick by Brick you tore that wall down.
Gentle and loving, never in anger or hate.
Loving me in every single way.
Letting me know that i am perfect being
Until that one day when our love just changed.
Never feeling true self worth.
I hid the bruises because I knew it wasn’t you.
Over and Over I hid my pain but
This has got to change someday.
I’ve began to suffocate
No way out but in the ground.
