Eve’s Serpent
Confused by temptation,
The serpent is near,
Walking thru fire,
The temptation is fear.
Feeling the burn,
Preaching to the choir,
The bondage is real,
Feel my desire.
I’m tied up,
Handcuffed in emotion,
Fallen so deeply,
Things set in motion.
Do I go left or right,
It’s definitely hard,
It’s worth it?
Or should I disregard?
