secret sin

I'm hurting...
but you can't stop the pain
hidden inside the grief I weep

my heart aches...
you see it on my face
I turn away so you don't see me fade
into a place, you can't reach me

my soul calls to you from where I'm at
I want you to save me
but there is no reprieve for ones such as me
so I hurt alone...

I can't tell you the source of my suffering
so I walk lonely inside the madness
I'm losing this fight please see me

you are my only light back to safety
I see you my beacon;
flashing in the distance
I catch sight of you for a moment
then I lose my way...

catch me I'm falling
back into darkness
it's eating me alive;
this secret sin...

I want to tell you...
but I'm afraid you'll give up on me
a lost child of temptation
