Such a catastrophe
Disastrous you call it, love
you ain't seen nothing yet.
We put pollution in the skies,
we take more trees than we realize.
Earth has been turned into a
corporation
for us to corrupt
and this big business
is about to go bankrupt.
We got all sorts of stuff
but enough
Is never enough.
Between the oceans and the ozone
there's a permanent impurity lingering.
We had sex till superabundancy
we ruined the great barrier reef
And the leaders of our nations
excessively lie through their teeth.
Such a catastrophe

Another catastrophe
"By the barrel of their guns
and the chemicals they embrace,
The human race
has eliminated itself."
We got a surplus of plastic,
we got garbage visible from other galaxies,
we got wars when we need them,
Civilization is one big fallacy.
We got smart phones,
we got drugs
entertainment and fast food
but...
we've bitten off more than we can chew.
I say leave it all behind
in the past my friends.
Gaia says "it's not the end,
on me you all depend."
A selfish species eventually
collapses under its own self obsession,
and this quest for power
has become a possession.

Another catastrophe.
We hide within the walls
with our eyes glued to a screen
getting stuck deeper within
the machine.
A spectacle surfaces outside,
we rush to capture it with our phones
as a supernova shoots through the sky and melts us to the fucking bones.
