Natural Art
A magnificent display of natural art and beauty begins as the cycle of the seasons ensues.
As the autumn leaves prepare for their demise, their vibrant colors decorate the forest, changing from green to gold and orange to a vibrant red, reflecting the sun with the dewdrops that lay upon their emerald faces.
The sun shines through the changing leaves, which glow brightly like enchanted embers as they senesce and fall to the ground, peppering the landscape with the brilliant colors of the seasons end.
And as the sun dips below the horizon, darkness envelopes this dazzling scene and rules the land again, if only for the night.

This poem makes me appreciate Autumn. There is beauty to be seen in decay here.

Thank you for your comment. Decay in itself is not morbid. It is a very beautiful and natural cycle of life itself. The constituents of decay, the minerals and nutrients from decaying leaves, wood, or even animals, go on to fuel the lives of the grasses, the flowers, and the trees, which provide the food for the animals again.
