Meet me in the Woods Tonight
endless trees of evergreen
mountains trace a distant horizon
following your voice that calls me to a shoreline
beckoning me to swim
letting your eyes guide me
in the shadow of the moon
you take my hand
we look to the stars
and burn even brighter
howling through the silence
like hungry wolves
tracing my ivory skin
unfolding my petals
dominating my body
you’re the alpha of the pack
bidding farewell to chastity
warmth of your body overwhelming me
trickling like a stream
over mossy rocks
lapping up honey and dew
grazing my leaves
making the flowers bloom before spring
calling us out of hibernation
pulling my heart out of hiding
in our secret place we will stay
so the day may never chase me away
from the beauty of the night
find me in the branches of the firs
find me buried under leaves
we’ll dance under the seasons’ spell
meet me in the woods tonight
mountains trace a distant horizon
following your voice that calls me to a shoreline
beckoning me to swim
letting your eyes guide me
in the shadow of the moon
you take my hand
we look to the stars
and burn even brighter
howling through the silence
like hungry wolves
tracing my ivory skin
unfolding my petals
dominating my body
you’re the alpha of the pack
bidding farewell to chastity
warmth of your body overwhelming me
trickling like a stream
over mossy rocks
lapping up honey and dew
grazing my leaves
making the flowers bloom before spring
calling us out of hibernation
pulling my heart out of hiding
in our secret place we will stay
so the day may never chase me away
from the beauty of the night
find me in the branches of the firs
find me buried under leaves
we’ll dance under the seasons’ spell
meet me in the woods tonight
