Image for the poem SECRETLY TOLD

SECRETLY TOLD

I wait once again for this scene to begin,
Directed by feelings held somewhere within,
This heart of a saint fights the urges of sin,
It's all I can do, It's all I can do.

I try to keep step in this long distance walk,
The memory of hearing your voice as we talk,
The rain washes clean our two names in the chalk,
Forever brand new, forever brand new.

I stare at the light that is cast on my wall,
The shadows await, should my gaze start to fall,
The brightness you bring, helps me get through it all,
Your feelings so true, your feelings so true.

I bury a sigh, as the image lets go,
I struggle to find what my words never show,
I feel what I feel, and forever will know,
I dwell within you, I dwell within you.

Let time hold the secrets that others may find,
Let all we believe in, not leave us behind,
My eyes see you not, yet this heart is not blind,
Joy known by so few, joy known by so few.
