I used to think
it was only me
a strange creature
writing thoughts
that make me bleed
within
struggling to find balance
between sadness
and screams
trying
to understand why
these thoughts
that I write
will not leave
me be
what are you doing
I used to ask
myself
scrapping together
what I needed to see
my own reflection
on my own personal screen
to begin the journey
years ago
to finally see
are there other strange creatures
like me
who bleed
when they write

... I think this is a much more common human experience than we would like to admit (the lives of not-so-quiet desperation) partly driven by our inhumanely structured world that forces a separation of ourselves, from Nature, and from fellow humans. Perhaps DUP is a helpful anti-dote to that.
