They say that the way    
to a woman's heart is through  
her JavaScript    
so always “code” as if    
your life depends on it    
Enacting    
the rite of passage;    
audacity    
engaging some sequence    
around an inquisition    
patronizing water torture    
making true poets    
poet    
more concisely    
more eloquently    
more believing    
abnormally    
more contriving    
artificing the runes-    
terminal: sympathy    
making actuality seem    
somewhat intelligent    
in monologue form    
that waters the nose    
after the bridges    
have closed us off;    
and we are now    
jostling into    
the friars of people    
taking spectacle;    
a nocturne of    
surrender-    
casting the brutes from her eyes    
one by one    
Elegy and ballad    
both birthing;    
the new republic.
