One short life

The way I feel is the way I am,
I wish we'd stop before it all fades away

Is this a life that you think you should waste?
In What kinda world do you wish you were placed?

The empty eyes looking down at the floor,
does anybody even really care anymore?

The eternal soul watching through us all,
Don't let the ego win, dont take the fall.

Are you living, are you dead?
You've lost your hope
and replaced it with dread.

Humans stay so unaware
Will they stay blind, will they ever care? Will they care?

They bought and sold us with their illusory hope,
they keep on lying and expect us all just to cope.
These evil overlords gaining further control
poisoning minds and crushing our soul
Why do they, why do they?

I ask you, how did things get this out of hand?
our freedom and liberation we all should demand
Why don't we, why don't we?
This earth is our home, this is our land,
why don't we rise up and all take a Stand
why don't we, why don't we?

Are we living? Are we aware?
What will it take
to make us care?

Nature shows us the way to peace
Will this existential confusion ever cease?

Wake up and live while you still can,
create your reality don't obey the man.
One short life, is this the way you want it
to be?
