Waiting On the World to Change
Sitting in my silent room,
Waiting on the world to change.
Always working in my mind,
Yet everything just stays the same.
Brilliant thoughts accomplish nothing, without the will to set them free
From the abstraction of the mind into something that the world can see.
Waiting on the world to change.
Always working in my mind,
Yet everything just stays the same.
Brilliant thoughts accomplish nothing, without the will to set them free
From the abstraction of the mind into something that the world can see.

Thanks, Sweet! I've never really taken the time to figure out what kind of poem it is, but I'll take your word for it. I'm glad that you enjoyed it!

changing apartments
the same building
one corner swallowing the sun
the other stabbing the moon
both were the same

For me this could be the beginnings of writer's block.

For each thing life takes from you it gives something back in exchange.
Cant say im sure but I can see life took something important from you but gave you the thinking of a king.
Keep it up fam I really enjoy your work!

I can relate to this - as a person with millions of big ideas and desires to make the world a better place, but..... how to execute the plans?? I hear your frustration. Well put.
