El paraiso perdido

That softness...the easy grace we danced with that spring was breathtaking as some comet's hurting passion
Crashin'.
Each sense enhanced -
The hot and cool jazz
Of my moon, your sun.
Only a bitter lover would remember
The ruinous discoveries of November;
The others,
Lovers.
That was then with no regretting,
Merely not forgetting
It's never lost - that paradise,
Merely frozen in memory's ice.
And, time to time, a ghost appears
And touches me then...
disappears again.
