If We Make It Through December
If we make it through December
I値l be living inside my own head
Cabin fever overtaken the bored
In motion without meaning
It will be time to get out
And do something
To find new scenery
Sometimes road dust is the only cure
If we make it through December
I値l be constantly thinking of you
The thought driving me crazy
Living by the chase and the fire
My imagination running wild
And all I want is to discover you
All your secrets and all of your hidden places
There痴 no easy way to capture or kill my desire
If we make it through December
The days will still be cold
But you値l say sunshine calls your name
So, I値l wait for the sun to burn away the winter
And try to forget the things neither forgiven or approved of
Though I long for you to keep me warm
You are a stone that makes men stumble
And a rock that makes men fall
If we make it through December
I値l be dying to see you
If we make it through December
I値l be longing for your touch
. . . but it is only late October
I値l be living inside my own head
Cabin fever overtaken the bored
In motion without meaning
It will be time to get out
And do something
To find new scenery
Sometimes road dust is the only cure
If we make it through December
I値l be constantly thinking of you
The thought driving me crazy
Living by the chase and the fire
My imagination running wild
And all I want is to discover you
All your secrets and all of your hidden places
There痴 no easy way to capture or kill my desire
If we make it through December
The days will still be cold
But you値l say sunshine calls your name
So, I値l wait for the sun to burn away the winter
And try to forget the things neither forgiven or approved of
Though I long for you to keep me warm
You are a stone that makes men stumble
And a rock that makes men fall
If we make it through December
I値l be dying to see you
If we make it through December
