Father
Father,
You were suppose to be my greatest protector,
Now you’re my greatest fear.
You were suppose to show me love,
Now you’re showing me hate.
You were suppose to always care for me,
Now you’re never there.
You were suppose to be my shoulder to cry on,
Now you’re the reason I’m crying.
You were suppose to fight for me,
Now you’re the reason I’m fighting men.
You were suppose to walk me down the aisle,
Now you’re not invited.
You were suppose to be my greatest protector,
Now you’re my greatest fear.
