dreamweaver
I'm not Native American
I think it's important to start this stating that
my children and ex-are Native American
my children's grandmother long since passed on
often appears to me in dreams
she did so last night
I couldn't shake the dream
I am no dream interpreter
so I have no understanding what it means
just the drive to write it down
it began, I was on an archeological dig
they were carrying out works of art and texts
asking what I would carry
I said the texts as they were of most important
answering it's all in the ancient words of a people
then my mother in law appeared
we were at the ocean
great lines of seals were sunning themselves
she said they know all
but beware they love to gossip
I looked and saw a massive seal with pink eyes
she was blind
I peered into her giant eyes and became frightened
she showed me what she knew
I beheld all that occurred from the beginning of time
my children appeared to me in my dream
we interacted while their grandmother looked on
she told me I carry the texts in my heart
I was a dream-seer
her grandchildren are precious to her
I was to carry the words within me
out to the next generation

I don't know anything about interpreting dreams, but it sounds to me like you are having some profound dreams, my beautiful Dark Angel. I love you...

You see, Crimmy, it's you, knowing that you are like the 'Queen'(I mean, everyone here loves you, and follows you), and you carry the texts(poems), and are the heartbeat of this place, and you will keep the poetry(yours and ours) flowing, so that it can live on and affect future generations with it's beauty(maybe not mine, but everyone else's. lol). The giant seal was not actually blind, as like the eyes of God, she sees all, and guides you to her ultimate will. You're God's servant here. (The gossip was just people commenting on how horrendous my poetry is...ignore that! lol).
Honestly, though, I think a lot of people look up to you here, and maybe you know that, and it weighs on you a little.
You are quite awesome, so I look up to you, I know that, and will admit it.
Anyway, I like your dream!!
Love,
Matthew.
(PS. Also, that eye could be that darn Admin lady staring at you!! Man, she looks right through you, doesn't she??!!.
Just kidding Admin lady!!! Love you!).

Oh, Crimmy, now you're making me blush.
I love you, my friend. You're smart, and talented, and fun, but you're also a ridiculously kind and beautiful soul. It's no wonder everyone loves you!!

You need to read William Kent Krueger's books, it has a lot to do with visions and ancient Indian lore.

I'm unable to offer any interpretation of your dream, Brenda, heck, I don't even understand my own. But, if it came to you for many of the reasons mine do, it may have been due to that greasy cheese burger, topped with tabasco sauce laden pomegranates.
*Just one of my many ponderings of why things happen, and thought I'd share it with you. :-))
Seriously, this was an enjoyed peek into how your mind speaks to you.

I wish I could interpret that dream, but my analytical powers (such as they are) fail. I do know that the images are outstanding, offering clues to how your subconscious mind visualizes your family, choosing symbolism over mundane activities. It occurs to me that the archeological dig might mean an effort to unearth the relics that define your family. A wild guess. Wonderful work as always, in any case.

I had a dream about my grandmother recently. She died over twenty years ago, but
she is still clear in my mind. Difficult to interpret dreams. Perhaps you were connecting to
her spiritually?
Dark Sun.

Brenda.. excellent ink.. maybe the dream, reflects your honesty.. to be trusted with sacred texts.. and to keep dreams alive, and pass them on to other generations.. it's the vibe i get.. not saying that makes me right.. but that's how it speaks to me.. love you, my sister..

I have no interpretation for you. I have prophetic dreams (some i've no idea what they're about).
If i had kept in contact with my Hopi Friend we might have been able to contact the Shaman (i forgot the Hopi word for his title) who helped me discover my animal Totem.
I found your descriptions, here Beautiful, even though we do not know the meaning.
Use your intuition. How did you Feel during and after the dreams?
