Happy Haunting!
as I look in the mirror
over my shoulder
you look beautiful
painted streaked hair
pale white face
lips redder than blood
long dagger fingernails
wicked mischievous grin
glowing empty eyes
your shrilling laughter
sent shivers down my spine
veins pumped ice cold blood
my heart stopped for a second
when I turned to face you
no one in the room but me
looked back in the mirror
how beautifully we transformed
into one being of horror

An excellent Halloween poem, Flower. I like how you use refection. Kind of makes me reflect on the fact that we get no trick-and-treaters on our side of town. Oh well. Doesn't stop me from putting on a little make up.

This is the most wonderful Halloween story ...scary and beautiful...I have never known a ghost story could be so fascinating.
