Durable
I'll introduce you to this darkness,
for it's whispers sound like me.
As you shake hands with this catharsis,
believe just half of what you see.
For it adapts with such illusion,
you'll be fooled by it's facade.
Blind to it's pollution,
Your perception may be flawed.
But take all of your assumptions,
and wash them down the drain.
Because I deal with this corruption,
You're wrong about my pain.
So many nights I've been abandoned,
betrayed by my own mind.
No matter how much I demanded,
it left all my light behind.
So what stands today before you,
Is a product of mistakes.
But I'll remain durable and new,
Even if my body shakes.
for it's whispers sound like me.
As you shake hands with this catharsis,
believe just half of what you see.
For it adapts with such illusion,
you'll be fooled by it's facade.
Blind to it's pollution,
Your perception may be flawed.
But take all of your assumptions,
and wash them down the drain.
Because I deal with this corruption,
You're wrong about my pain.
So many nights I've been abandoned,
betrayed by my own mind.
No matter how much I demanded,
it left all my light behind.
So what stands today before you,
Is a product of mistakes.
But I'll remain durable and new,
Even if my body shakes.
