Author's Note

Leibniz defined Tangent as the line through a pair of infinitely close points on the curve. In geometry, the tangent line (or simply tangent) to a plane curve at a given point is the straight line that "just touches" the curve at that point.

Well this poem has given me a new appreciation?? on geometry.

For it is now clear that gravity and time has changed the twin peaks from circles to ellipses, that my old profile pic. revealed (x=y2) parabolas and the newer updated portrait view shows (y=x2) parabolas.

Thanks for the mathematics lesson, though it was not one I was wishing to contemplate. :-))))))
