Exotic Brew

(a quatern)

We, unnoticed, unexpected,
How like a tiger, slink in Starbucks,
That low, prowling, hot breath startles,
Around corners, backrooms, waiting.

How easy, how quick to give in,
We, unnoticed, unexpected,
Convinced, you willingly comply,
To under table add your brew.

The napkin used to clean the drips,
Used to wipe my lips, rare perfume,
We, unnoticed, unexpected,
Café con Brio, you, my drink.

How quick you move to add the cream,
With froth and joy, you bring divulge,
To enjoy the thirst it quenches,
We, unnoticed, unexpected.
