Me
Are we.
That's all we need.
Everything else,
makes no sense.
Fit together like
ice cream and pie.
Well you are
the apple of my eye.
Not just a trend or a mode.
We are "a' la mode!"
Take a bite,
hot and cold.
Sweet and tasty,
enjoy before it gets old.

Well the poem reads on a high note but ends on a bit of a downer...with before it gets old..
Very perceptive, captured it exactly. Life sometimes throws you for a loop.
