Loving all year round
Watching her smile is like looking at the sunset in summer.
Listening to her voice is like listening to the rain dripping on the roof in fall.
Missing her is like a long, harsh winter.
Kissing her is like waking up in spring.
Loving her is a wonderful feeling, all year round.

Author's Note
A little more than a year ago, I met my lovely girlfriend. I love her very much
And she really inspires me. To celebrate that love, I dedicated this poem to her. Update: we went through a tough time and we broke up, she is now deeply in love with her girlfriend and I’m also finding my way in the world of love. That’s life.

Such a beautiful dedication, and a testament to your love. Incredibly imaginative, with lots of emotion and pleasant imagery. I think you did a spectacular job at painting the seasons to us with your words. Your writing is wonderful, and in some ways, actually reminds me of my own.
Here is something that I wrote a few years ago, but never finished, which you've inspired me to share:
"Her eyes, as blue as the sky, reflecting off the ocean.
Her lips are like a blissful breeze, arousing all of my emotions.
Her touch, to me, so tantalizing, raising hairs upon my back.
Her taste is like no other, of words I have a lack."
In the part where you compared missing her to the harsh winter,
it reminded me of my oldest poem on here, "A Love Once Lost",
which goes like this:
"And you became the harshest winter, as the fire within began to die,
Extinguishing my flames and leaving smoke to fill my clear blue sky."
Although mine was referring to how cold and distant my ex became towards the end of the relationship. Quite a different scenario :p
