Ice Cream and Pie

Newfound love is so sweet
Sickly sweet to some
But there's nothing else
Like finding one another

And you eat each other up
Devouring sights, smells
The words that they say
And their smile

You crave those kisses
That look in their eyes
Long to touch and hold
And never let go

Ice cream and pie
That was our thing
You were the ice cream
And I was the pie
