Rain Tears
See the tears that stroll silently down her face.
As rain hits the window panes.
She knows that nothing will ever be the same.
In the darkened room with juxtaposed gloom the rain clatters.
Each drop that hits is a problem mounting.
Maybe there is no deciphering why she feels this way.
Just a dark day repeating.
Faces in a flash of lightning show from clouds of perceived sins.
But not of her own.
Cut off and isolated, yet sheltered from the storm she engages.
Her brain surges and the room spins with a swirl of problems never seemingly to be erased.
And just as darkness breaks into welcome sunlight more dark clouds of the mind will lie upon the horizon.
