That's what I've been doing lately
Sex poems are on a short stay plan
Like a motel by the hour
The clock ticking
Sex on a budget
Fast food too
Good going down
Makes you sorry later on

Bukowski never had to worry about this
He wrote hundreds of poems a week
No comments till long after he was dead
Cult hero for the outcasts and outliers
We have other issues
Not enough tissues
I never rhyme
Get it while you can

Ah, Bukowski....Finding that thing I love and letting it kill me.
In my case...nachos.

Never delete. Always keep. Go back, rework, reform. It's a process and sometimes it just hurts.
I feel this one today.

Sincere question: why do you delete?

I�ve deleted for various reasons. Embarrassment, planning to rework and submit for publication with a magazine, too personal. So I get it. Just wondering. Also, do you have them saved somewhere else?
