Eulogy for Hope
We drift through life
Like fallen stars
Finding only strife
Both near and far
Hoping to find
Something clear
To fill our mind
With something dear
We search in vain
Throughout it all
Finding only pain
Forever small
Until we end
Our time on earth
And all pretend
There'll be rebirth
A second chance
To be much more
A follied glance
Of all before.

Loved this RJm, particularly the last two short lines. One detail: the title should be spelled "eulogy."
