Wolf brother
There is kin-ship here,
Not an ounce of fear,
Deep in your territory,
But a moment of pure clarity,
Form may differ between you and I,
Yet it is impossible to deny,
Our minds have something shared,
Eyes lay our souls bared,
Above all else pack comes first,
Family, our life long thirst,
So as I look into lupine eyes,
I see a creature I could never despise,
Because in you I find my twin,
The two of us interspecies kin,
A lingering farewell glance,
Before you lithely prance,
Back into woodland cover,
My wolf brother.
Not an ounce of fear,
Deep in your territory,
But a moment of pure clarity,
Form may differ between you and I,
Yet it is impossible to deny,
Our minds have something shared,
Eyes lay our souls bared,
Above all else pack comes first,
Family, our life long thirst,
So as I look into lupine eyes,
I see a creature I could never despise,
Because in you I find my twin,
The two of us interspecies kin,
A lingering farewell glance,
Before you lithely prance,
Back into woodland cover,
My wolf brother.
