You Are My Father~
laying here in midst of a storm
your whispering luv calms the thunder
answers to prayers now break silence
You have awakened serenity
within my heart & soul
no longer do actions of others I dwell upon
I am ~ who I am ~ cause You created me
You my Lord make no mistakes
teach your ways of luv to this wandering soul
calling upon your holy name
as I kneel before You
with closed eyes and an open heart
please let me feel this calmness
that has adorned deep within me
never let me not feel your luv
guide me gracefully now & always
down a path you’ve chosen just for me
for I am your child ~ You are my father

A fine spiritual poem. I don't read many poems about God here, and this is by far the best. Always a pleasure to find such an eloquent prayer, Flower.
