She lay her head down
Melted into him
Her ear to his chest
Her struggles soaked up
by his beating heart
Their love in perfect rhythm
His heart calmed her
Her troubles fell asleep in his chest
Away from him, she holds on
memorizing the rhythm of his heartbeat
Hers beats too
In perfect harmony
