The Feelings of Desire, Part Two: Emotional
The first time she really ever felt this way,
She wanted to tell him her problems, and hug him every day.
To hear his sympathies, and his words of kindness and love.
The man that she beloves, the one who is her true love.
Though he is forty-seven years her senior, and his hair has gone silver,
She thinks (even more so now), that he is cuter,
Than all the other men, and for him, she's a sucker.
He's beautiful, loving, gentle, tender, generous, and kind,
Respectful, respectable, funny, wise, mannerly, and refined.
To comfort him in his time of need,
And to be comforted in her time of need.
How sweet he was when they first met,
His kind words, she knew, to a relationship that led.
He said he liked her hat, he made sure he spelled her name right, and comforted her when she was nervous,
Not like other celebrities, but rather gracious,
A man of sentiment, kind and precious.
Beautiful, inside and out,
Makes her want to scream and shout.
To tell all the world, just how wonderful he is,
With her as the witness,
To all his kind words and deeds,
Helping to get whatever someone needs.
In a love, so tender, and pure,
And so full of splendour.
She wanted to tell him her problems, and hug him every day.
