Master Key
when all reason feels at a loss
just know you’re not alone
we can still be warriors of strength
disease, poverty, fighting for life
people suffering within their own minds
accepting defeat like it’s the only option
I only ask you, why?
why can’t we hug those in need?
why is there such a universal guard up?
ignoring the ones that want to help
being cold to those that are there for us
maybe I’m a different kind of guy
a friend can count on me
they just better never push me over
strong dislike for those that betray
go ahead, give me your best shot
I can give as good as I can take
but don’t think I’ll stop growing my heart
I have this master key to bliss
we can open the door to happiness
there’s no need to lie
everything’s not fine
heart is full of pain, I get it
take on the hands of truth
they’ll help you move pass the bullshit
faking a smile is no way to live
from the highest of highs
to the lowest of lows
it’s better to stay true to ourselves
might be outnumbered
backed up into a corner
but this is one Devil who has claws
rather use my voice to fight the haters off
