Mr. Augustus
Mr. Augustus has accomplished
enough and everything to be envied for.
He graduated college
by the age of 16.
He graduated university, with honors,
by the age of 19.
He, acquired a Ph.D
by the age of 21.
He raised a family
at the right time.
He divorced
at the right time, and in good terms.
He died with a killing funeral
laid in a fine wooden coffin
surrounded by silk with the softest of pillows
to rest his head,
six feet under.
And now, finally
he can be into
whiskey and coke,
gardening, music,
pure pleasure
and not taking life so seriously.
