eight.

letters landed
in cold post boxes
-there were

eight

Ada and Natalie
had penned
poetic masterclass in

eight

pieces of
perfectly written
artistic bliss.

eight

asking questions
-vocalising political standing
speaking of lovers
travels, art, health, and home-life.

eight

occasions allowing words
to flow, as old chuck
had taught in
"so you want to be a writer."

eight

examples of literature
where eric arthur blair's
essay- "why I write"
brought home-truth.

eight

moments flying
close to the sun
as daedalus
wings melted
into

eight

wax stamps
sealing
envelopes

...shut

.

eight .

.
