The air tonight
Crisp with rain
A slight chill
Coming through the window
Cigarette smoke
It all reminds me
Of when you were still here
When I was a kid
Staying over your house
Spooked by every tiny sound
The cool air coming in
A car driving up the hill
Fading in the distance
My heart aches for those days
Now so far away
All the things you've missed
But I hold onto these little things
Reminders in the wind
Visiting me tonight
Remind me of you
Before you died
Crisp with rain
A slight chill
Coming through the window
Cigarette smoke
It all reminds me
Of when you were still here
When I was a kid
Staying over your house
Spooked by every tiny sound
The cool air coming in
A car driving up the hill
Fading in the distance
My heart aches for those days
Now so far away
All the things you've missed
But I hold onto these little things
Reminders in the wind
Visiting me tonight
Remind me of you
Before you died
