Ode to a Toad
We now have a POTUS
who's Ug-lee and wicked
Who acts like his "status"
gives him a free ticket
to use people as tools
for achieveing his ends...
women as objects
to abuse and offend.
He torments for no reason
save that he's able...
Takes babes from their mothers
and sends them away...
He mocks and condemns
anybody who differs ..
Race, Faith or Gender.. just take your pick.
We got us a equal-opportunity-bigot-in-chief...

Bona-Fide-Expert-Bright-Orange-Prick.

Ely I like the rhythm of the final line in stanza 4( but try AN) and the last line in stanza 5 Likening him to an orange prick is appropriate.I assume in a pendant position. Kexby

You are right about (AN) being incorrect English... especially as spoken on the auld sod, as they say.
But (and I did try it) in the coloquial, as spoken by an East Texas Cowboy Poet for example... and with the phrase, "We got us..." (AN) just doesn't SOUND right.
Poetic License comes into play.
And as to the reference I made at the end... of course the appendage in question DEPENDS. Muchas gracias, amigo. Ely
