Turquoise pools of water
Reflect cumulus clouds
Drifting on a cool
Alpine breeze.

Sheer granite ravines
Unfurl deep below
Cascading babbling
Streams into pine forrests.

My eternal love
By my side
Melting me like blue
Glacial water.

A vision as clear
As quartz
Shimmering into
The sapphire sky.

Two lovers kiss
In the dense
Mountain
Mist.

Lost
In
Each
Other

Forever.

Author's Note

I fell asleep on the couch this morning and had a dream, more like a hypnagogic dream. An intense vision of a mountain range, covered in snow and ice. Something I have seen in Austria or Switzerland. Stayed with me all day.

Thanks Melia. I love mountains...my father used to take me to Snowdonia national park when I was kid...sometimes in blizzard conditons! Nature entwined by love indeed.
