Author's Note
This is an abbreviated version of the original poem which can be found in my catalogue. The competition it’s entered in has a 50-55 word max. But that never bothers me, I love it.

Thank you SO much, John... your response reflects how much I as the poet felt (and still feels) as the piece came to me... like a gentle early summer's breeze. I will bow - in thanks - for your recommendation. Take care, my friend. :)

The images painted here are perfect for summer days up ahead with that carefree attitude enjoying the gifts bestowed upon us by nature is clearly displayed here, well done Jade Pandora.

I thank you, dear Layla, to share my enthusiasm of the season and all the delights that go with it, with you. Of course, I love celebrating all the seasons, heehee!

Short and sweet! I love both the lines and the layout, with your words seemingly balanced on the sneakers. Your poem works beautifully even without the art, but with it this is brilliant. Wonderful job all around!

This poem just makes me feel bubbly inside. The sun is finally out here in Canada after a long and harsh winter. Beautiful weather brings happiness.

Ooh yes, my precious moon’s reflection, no truer words ever spoken. And for me, the happiness has just doubled, when I saw on my updates that you had come over to see me. Thank you, dear.

Thank you so much, darling kitcat... and I’d be terribly honored if your young one reads my humble offering. I felt such happiness when I put it together (words & image), so it’s special for me to find that readers feel that happiness too!

this is such a wonderful, wonderful piece - it just so... jade
I see you throwing yourself in that field with your sneaks up in the air and as I call out "Jade!" you slowly raise up the flowers.
what fun!

i just came across your poem, very nice climate manners;
but that photo, is the idiom peculiar to your voice boundless,
do you think from his balcony the farmer looked on,
i;m unable to write any more, i'm just laughing

Re. Sunflower for a Day (visual poetry)
I think John Galt said it exactly. The visuals and the flow of it so well done. Tickles my tongue reading it aloud. Lol.
Love it.
Love it.

I thank you so, dear CharlotteMae,
I clearly don’t know what to say!
I will admit, I do confide,
A smile from ear to ear is wide!
