Poet in state so pitiful
Earthly vessel slowly decays
Artery walls display
Impasto graffiti
Masterpieces of overindulgence
Honey honey ah sugar sugar
Now poison in the veins
Stiff joints hamper scamper
Fatigue a constant bane
What can reverse
this steady decline?
Stem this deterioration?
Breath of life come enter in
Sweet wise and beautiful muse
With brilliant light each passage fill
Bring Spring to a Fall disposition
Make words inspired from pen to spill
View life with amplified vision

This is a divine piece dear Gahddess (Bob?). I smiled with this line "Honey honey aw sugar sugar". You always write out of the box. I love your muse, and hope I can have one like her "View life with amplified vision" .

All it takes is a fine lover to approach divinity. Love this, Gahdess. That "sugar sugar" line reminds me a bubblegum pop tune from the '60s by the Archies. A little guilty pleasure in a superb new context.
