My Somebody
Waiting for your kisses
But they never came
Missing your hands, your face, your lips
In my heart, I take the blame.
I can never say goodbye to you
If I live a hundred years
I will always feel a loving bond
A bond strong, having no fears.
So much time that was spent together
Every minute was valuable to me
You were my Prince, my love
To not have you here, it cannot be!
Tell me it is not so. My lover is gone
No more caresses, no more whispering in the dark
His presence is not there
But on my heart, he has left his mark.
A mark, so strong, as to be an imprint
On my soul, on my body
My thoughts of him
Can never be erased, for he was my somebody.
But they never came
Missing your hands, your face, your lips
In my heart, I take the blame.
I can never say goodbye to you
If I live a hundred years
I will always feel a loving bond
A bond strong, having no fears.
So much time that was spent together
Every minute was valuable to me
You were my Prince, my love
To not have you here, it cannot be!
Tell me it is not so. My lover is gone
No more caresses, no more whispering in the dark
His presence is not there
But on my heart, he has left his mark.
A mark, so strong, as to be an imprint
On my soul, on my body
My thoughts of him
Can never be erased, for he was my somebody.
