Goes Back into Being
His face was the face of an ordinary man,
Yet when looked upon, no desire was held for him,
So be it, rather, that we would choose his ways,
A way so simple, yet, to some too complex.
A light within him went outward, healing
the maimed, the blind, the deaf, evil spirit possessed,
All the while the agony and pain of darkness
Ventured forth to pierce His Being.
When it is done, He forgives,
Yet, only those who believe can see
the reminiscence of His Beauty .,
And with visage marred by endless suffering,
He turns around and goes back into Being.
Yet when looked upon, no desire was held for him,
So be it, rather, that we would choose his ways,
A way so simple, yet, to some too complex.
A light within him went outward, healing
the maimed, the blind, the deaf, evil spirit possessed,
All the while the agony and pain of darkness
Ventured forth to pierce His Being.
When it is done, He forgives,
Yet, only those who believe can see
the reminiscence of His Beauty .,
And with visage marred by endless suffering,
He turns around and goes back into Being.
