A moment of Silence

Apprehension stalks the silence of thoughts
Taking their last breath before becoming
Hard evidence,
Stated once and for all,
As the pen passionately kisses
The sacred land of one's true soul.
You see emptiness,
I see the begining of a journey
That will soon give birth to
Morals, mayhem and memories.
Truth be told,
I'm afraid to say what I'm about to write.
Fear has never stopped me,
Yet merely empowered my inner voice,
That disguises itself vigorously
Beneath the firey essence
Of addiction and intercourse,
Until of course,
That perfect moment comes along,
And it strikes back with such fierocity,
That the only thing left to do is
Fall back on weak knees and give in-
Touched, terrified or triumphant...
Appalled by the realization
That this is meant for you to FEEL,
Not just lend an ear to...
These are words meant to be spoken at all costs-
It's heartbeats screamed instead of assumed.
But sure-
Nod, smile, forget me in five minutes...
Guess what though?
This isn't a drill...
Panic'll set in in the next verse or two,
Because these revelations may expose
Pieces of you ,
That you thought you'd hidden well.
