IS IT LOVE, OR IS IT LUST?
Is it love, or is it lust?
An instinct that we can trust?
Just fancy for my body,
Or desire for heart of me?
Is it just a strong sex drive,
Wanting 'legover' or 'swive'?
Or is there real care for me
As wholistic entity?
Is it all the novelty,
Not known before you met me?
As acquaintance grows in length,
Will your love have greater strength?
If I let you have your way,
Would you respect me next day?
Or will I be just a fling
On your way to next best thing?

Having looked the text up, perhaps that makes sense if one sees love as coming from the spirit and lust from the flesh (or sinful nature) - although biologists (especially evolutionists) may argue that lust has a part in reproduction.
I wrote this to sum up common questions couples may ask themselves over entering into a relationship - how far and how soon in physical terms to go?
