Baby Teeth
One by one they fall out, fall apart
Fall out of madness
Why madness
Because childhood was madness
Churning violently like a hurricane but covered in lilac so no one would see
One by one they erupt and bleed
Bleeding carnage
The carnage
Of my youth, but like broken glass hidden in a pure white snowball
One by one, little by little
She's growing up
They say its cute, they say it's actually adorable
To be bleeding
One by one they fell out, fell upon
Upon the desert of her soul
Dry like brittle raccoon bones from last season
Dry like sandpaper inside that pretty perfect rosebud mouth
One by one they fell around,
Around her hands and feet
Raw and red from running
Raw and red from reaching and finding the hopeless instead
Of the hope
Fall out of madness
Why madness
Because childhood was madness
Churning violently like a hurricane but covered in lilac so no one would see
One by one they erupt and bleed
Bleeding carnage
The carnage
Of my youth, but like broken glass hidden in a pure white snowball
One by one, little by little
She's growing up
They say its cute, they say it's actually adorable
To be bleeding
One by one they fell out, fell upon
Upon the desert of her soul
Dry like brittle raccoon bones from last season
Dry like sandpaper inside that pretty perfect rosebud mouth
One by one they fell around,
Around her hands and feet
Raw and red from running
Raw and red from reaching and finding the hopeless instead
Of the hope
