Better Off
Sitting in the rain feeling it falling on my head
Stuck between wishing I was better off or dead
Wrist to razor let the blood start to flow
So you can see the scars of pain I do not show
Drifting through life without any love
Better off if I did not have you to think of
Between him and me I know I am less
When I stand next to him he looks statuesque
I would be better off if I just went away
Instead of thinking of you night and day
You drive the fire that burns inside my soul
I must contain it when you are around though
I am better off you not knowing how I feel inside
So when I see you coming I am better off if I hide
Better off if the words I think are never said
