WHERE YEARS HAVE TAKEN HIM
WHERE YEARS HAVE TAKEN HIM
He takes his folding stool and crawls
To sit outside a nearby shop.
He just sits there watching who pass;
That's what his health and his age suits.
He gets so bored with his ground floor,
With what he does and those around,
What his wife wrongly does at home,
But can't advise to shun a brawl.
Outside the shop, he spends his time
With his free thoughts roaming the realm.
He has a ready smile on face
For those who greet him when they stroll.
His smile is sweet and shows deep gist;
It shows the tranquil life he lives.
He is so glad with what he has
And nothing can disturb his dreams.
His content face just conveys this:
Don't care for what in life you miss
But just enjoy what you possess.
