What I Like About You
What I like about you, you do not speak,
Two words more than you need.
What I like about you, the undefined,
Words you use to describe a mind.
What I like about you, the absence of breath,
In between words of a grand death.
What I like about you, is the trickling thought.
Consciousness that never slows into not.
What I like about you, are your highs.
The moments when you make me feel alive.
What I like about you, are your lows.
The moments when you make me feel your sorrow.
What I like about you, the freedom you give.
My words apparently never knew how to live.
What I like about you, enlightenment.
Because friendships don't get better than this.
