Saving God
This world is worthless, but more than that, the universe itself stinks.
The whole thing is a colossal waste of time !!!
Judging Him by His work, we can call God a failure as a Creator.
For all the planets orbiting all the stars are lifeless: it's as if they aren't really there,
They are zombies, lifeless, like when a man is having sex with a woman who is high on coke.
She's telling him she doesn't really want to be with him.
But wait. Let's just wait a minute, why don't we.
We can redeem God's failed universe !!!
We - mankind - can fill the universe, or at least the Milky Way Galaxy,
with a myriad of lifeforms from Earth the Mother Planet !!!
That would be our "reasonable service."
After all Christ has saved us from hell by going to the Cross, hasn't He ??
So we owe Him an immeasurable debt which can never be paid off in full.
BUT THAT DOESNT STOP US FROM PAYING IT OFF IN PART.
For example, after Christ saved "the woman caught in adultery"
from being stoned to death (John 8.3-7), what did she do ??
She showed her gratitude by buying a jar of Spikenard, expensive perfume,
And pouring it on Christ's feet.
And wiping them with the hair of her head (Luke 7.38).
He was at dinner at someone's house as an invited guest.
She comes in, uninvited, crying as she kissed His feet.
Likewise we can pay Christ back for dying for us, not just dying a quick painless death,
but a slow tortuous death.
How -- by starting a movement that will eventually result in Man's colonizing Space,
the Milky Way galaxy, at least, if not the universe itself.
How can mankind be satisfied to do less ??
It will take a lot of our time for billions of years.
But our debt will still be there, growing.
And so the need to continue the work of colonizing Space will still be there, as well.
The "sinner woman" later was called Mary of Bethany, sister to Martha, Lazarus.
She again pours the Spikenard and this time anoints Christ's head,
preparing His body for burial (John 12.3)
Even though He has not yet gone to Cross.
Judas objects to her "wasting" the perfume on Christ(verse 4).
Christ rebuked him,"leave her alone...
She has done what she could." (Mark 14.8).
It was at THAT point that Judas decides to betray Christ to the Jewish leaders(Mark 14.8).
Apparently, Judas was incensed that Christ defended this woman.
Male chauvinism = the spirit of Christ killers.
"Leave her alone..she has done what she could."
We must "do what we can" in regard to the big picture.
Namely, the colonization if Space.
It will be like the Great Commission all over again.
Instead of "Go into all the world, making disciples of all nations," (Matthew 28.19)
mankind will go into all directions of Space, converting
dead planets into living ones, clones or semi-clones of Mother Earth.
Just like it was impossible for the apostles to carry out the Great Commission
but they, with our help, have done it, so too with the Cosmic Commission.
The colonization of Space over the next billion years is an established fact.
For King David, unwittingly, predicted that Man would stand
on the moon, and reach the stars as well.
For David wrote Psalm 8.
Verse 3 says the "heavens are the work of God's hands."
Then David says the same thing, using different words:
instead of the heavens, he speaks of "the moon and the stars."
OK, so far we have this much: "the moon and stars are the work of God's hands. "
Next, David says, God has "given man dominion over the work of God's fingers,"
which would apply to the moon and the stars.
Then it says, "He has put all things under man's feet." (verse 6)
That is all we need.
For those words mean God has put the moon and the stars under man's feet, you see.
Not that David meant those things.
But God did.
If man is going to get to go to the other planets of the solar system,
he needs more than the thousand years in Revelation 20.
LSS: the 1000 years have to be seen as Augustine interpreted back in the 400s.
Namely as the "name" of the period between the first and
Second Coming of Christ ("City of God," Book 20, chap.8)
Rather than strict literal 1000 years.
In fact, we are at the end of "the thousand years" already.
When the Roman empire "returns" that will =
the rising of the Beast/Dragon out of the abyss
at the end of the 1000 years(Revelation 20.7).
And that happens as Russia invades Western Europe,
as predicted in terms of of "10 horns" (10 nations) being invaded
by "another horn" (another nation, namely Russia) (Daniel 7.8).
It happens later this very year (?).
Finally, when mankind transforms the present universe (or at least the lifeless galaxy)
into a cosmic version of the Garden of Eden, we will have "saved God"
from the ignominy of being a failed Creator!!!
