Why a Less-Than-Global Flood is Better Than a Global One
The global judgment by the Flood goes with the later judgment by Fire.
If the first judgment turns out to be less than global, this is good.
For it means the same may be true of the later global judgment by fire.
The judgment by fire is found in 2nd Peter 3.11.
It looks global - even universal.
But it actually will be much less massive.
Only the surface of the Earth will be "burned up", not the Earth itself.
And not all of the surface.
Only the USA and 3 nations in Western Europe are certain to be devastated.
Well, South Korea seems destined as well.
About my claim that Noah's Flood has been proved to have been much less than global, i am espousing the claim that the Black Sea Flood of 7000 years ago = the basis for the Biblical Flood.
Mainly because of the proximity between the eastern shore of that sea and Iraq, to the southeast.
Iraq is, of course, where a handful of flood accounts all come from.
There's Gilamesh, from Babylonian cuniform records.
The implication is that Black Sea Flood survivors settled in the Iraq region to a large extent. Please GOOGLE it, you will be glad you did.
