a poet's tears
a sweet ambrosia flavored soul
kissed the dawn
& rose to the celestial
where her tears
were born of the sun
as rays of hope
they fell to the Earth
becoming a bud of thought
each petal with a delicate scribe
told of her life story,
she travailed greatly
to carry the weight of guilt, pain, shame
in the darkness she rested
& learned the dark's name
the guardians there
taught her the poetry language
they protect this art
a toll is collected from one & all
you're bid create with your blood or not at all
so within addiction's torment
the heartache of a battered woman
& inside a psychosis howl
i picked up the pen
bled out my agony
as demons kissed my lips
& bid me,
"speak for us"
so i began to write
expelling all the ache
& pleasure
while legion danced on the page
he reached through the ether
& my words came alive
wrought from the pain
a glorious creature of hurt

Oh my gods, beautiful Dark Angel, this is gorgeous! There isn't another I've known who could express pain, darkness and softness equally and with such flawless beauty. I am eternally grateful to have found you in this world of chaos. I do so love you

A superb write out. An exorcism of sorts. As you rub out the ache. Don't be down, your words are alive.

My love the language you have been taught is one I could never learn...you weave words into the most incredible tapestries which blanket the light, hope and darkness in is all...you have again stolen breaths from me and I am having to remind myself how it’s done...
I love you passionately
yours always & forever

As Poets we must bleed...I think that Apollo, our god, would have demanded it...and you my dear Brenda, are the first of his nine muses...the Goddess of Poetry.
